Plot Summary

Lars live a solitary life working as a security guard. When his father dies he inherits an aggressiv dog. Now, Lars has to decide on what to do with the last remaining remnant of a man he´d rather forget.

About

Rift was shot in Oslo, Norway and was written and directed by Rolf Heldal. The producer was Martin Alslie. It has tree official election nominations in different parts of the world. I had the pleasure of editing this film. 

For me, this was a project that triggered my interest, not only in terms of the plot, but in it´s approach of silent, subtle storytelling, to it´s style and perspective.
