THE BAMBI EFFECT

Plot Summary

Two girls meet on the Internet. Veronica and Cecilie are carrying different stories, but they have a common goal: To disappear. They meet up and go on a weekend trip to Veronica´s hyper moder family summer house, a trip none of them are planning to return from. They bring along a camera to document everything they do, with the intension to leave behind a goodbye-tape. The Bambi Effect are the girl´s recordings.

I was fortunate enough to be the director assistant and editor on this film, than also was my debut with this kind of creative responsibility in a feature length production. The film was written and directed by Øystein Stene, co-written by Linda Gabrielsen and produced by Feil Film AS, with Ravn Wikhaug and Johan Kaos as active producers.
